RGV Area Plays Huge Role in Successful Moderna Vaccine Trial!

  1. Centex Studies McAllen has NEW studies for COVID vaccines enrolling now. Compensation is available.

November 20, 2020 MCALLEN, TX – Moderna recently announced that their COVID-19 vaccine candidate reduced the risk of contracting the virus by 94.5% in their study of 30,000 participants. Centex Studies and the Rio Grande Valley area residents accounted for 700 of those participants, but the fight is not over!

“Early data from the Moderna clinical trial has shown incredible results, and we could not be more excited to have played our part,” said Dr. Joel Solis, Principle Investigator at Centex Studies-McAllen.

The world may never go back to the way it was before, but without an FDA approved safe and effective vaccine, the virus WILL NOT go away, and people will continue to die. New studies for COVID vaccines have started enrolling now. Centex Studies-McAllen is once again calling for the Rio Grande Valley residents to step up and play their part!

“There’s no way we could do what we do without our volunteers,” said Dr. Solis. “The diversity provided by the people of the Rio Grande Valley is vital to the success of any vaccine candidate.”

Centex needs about 1,000 more volunteers in the RGV area. There is no cost to participate in the trials, and compensation for trial-related time and travel is available for those who qualify and participate. Those who wish to get involved can call 956-540-7170 or visit centexstudies.com.
